Check Your Resume Keywords Against a Job Ad

Resume & career100% freePrivate

The short answer

Paste the job description and your resume text, and the tool lists the skills the ad asks for that you have, and the ones missing. Add a missing skill only if you really have it, and show it in a project line too. It never tells you whether you will be shortlisted.

Nothing you paste leaves your device.

No resume yet? Build one in the resume builder, then come back.

Fill in both boxes (a couple of sentences each) to see the result.

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Should I add every missing keyword?

No. Add only what you truly know, and prove it in a project or internship line. A skill you cannot talk about in the interview hurts you.

Why was a skill I wrote not counted?

Only whole words count. MySQL is not matched as SQL and Java is not found inside JavaScript, so write the skill in the same words as the ad.
