Frequently asked questions
Does this tell me if I will be shortlisted?
No. It only compares words between the ad and your resume. Companies use different software and people make the final choice. Use it to spot what the ad cares about.
Should I add every missing keyword?
No. Add only skills you really have, and show them in your projects or internship lines too, not only in a list.
Is my resume or the job ad uploaded?
No. The comparison runs in your browser and nothing leaves your device.
Why did a skill I wrote not count?
Only whole words count and the tool knows common spellings. For example MySQL is not counted as SQL, and Java is not found inside JavaScript. Write the skill the way the ad does.
