Frequently asked questions

Which size should I use?

The one in your exam's notice or the form page. Sizes differ between exams and change between years, so the ready-made options are only common examples.

How does it reach the KB limit?

The picture is made exactly your width and height, then the JPG quality is lowered just enough to get under your limit. If it cannot get under at that size, it tells you.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser, so your photo and signature stay on your device.

How do I get a good signature photo?

Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, in good light, and keep the camera straight above it. Leave the clean-up option on. Or draw it on screen.

The website needs at least 20 KB and my file is smaller. What now?

Enter the smallest size too and the tool warns you. Then try a larger width and height, since a bigger picture makes a bigger file.
