Is blurring a number safe?
A black box is the only fully safe choice for numbers and text. Blur and pixelate can sometimes be partly undone, so use the black box for an Aadhaar, PAN, account or phone number.
Can the hidden part be recovered from the saved picture?
No. The hidden parts are painted into the new picture. Keep your original safe, and share only the new copy.
Does it remove the location and camera details in a photo?
Yes. The saved picture is a fresh copy made from the pixels alone, so the hidden GPS location, date and camera details that photos carry are not kept.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is done in your browser, and the picture never leaves your device.
