Frequently asked questions
Is the percentage the average of each subject's percent?
No. It is the total marks over the total maximum. The two agree only when every subject has the same maximum.
Should I include the optional subject?
That depends on the board or university rule. Many exclude an additional subject or take the best five, so follow the rule for your form.
