CEED 2027 (Common Entrance Examination for Design)

About this exam
CEED 2027 has two parts. Part-A is on the computer with numerical answer, multiple choice and multiple select questions that test design aptitude. Part-B has five questions that test design, drawing and writing skills, answered in an answer book. Final score = 0.25 x Part-A + 0.75 x Part-B.
Registration with the regular fee is 1 to 31 October 2026. Registration with a late fee is 1 to 6 November 2026, until 5:00 pm. Admit cards are available from 1 January 2027. The exam is on Sunday 17 January 2027, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Results are on 3 March 2027 and score cards from 10 March 2027. The score is valid for one year.
Qualifying in CEED does not guarantee admission: you must apply to each institute and meet its other requirements.
Who can apply
- Completed a graduate degree, diploma or postgraduate programme of at least three years after Class 12, or appearing for the final exam of one by July 2027
- Or passed the 5-year Government Diploma in Art (G.D. Art, after Class 10) by July 2027
