NITI Aayog Internship Scheme

By NITI Aayog, Government of India

About this internship

NITI Aayog's own instructions say applications are accepted online only, from 00:00 on the 1st to 23:59 on the 10th of every month, and no other way of applying is accepted. Choose one area of interest, note your registration number, and do not send a printout or any documents.

The Government of India's science portal (ISTI) describes the scheme as an unpaid learning programme: interns get hands-on exposure to policy work, data collection and analysis, write briefing reports and policy papers, and receive a completion certificate if they attend at least 75% of the time. NITI Aayog provides working space and internet, but you bring your own laptop. No stipend, fellowship, travel support or daily allowance is paid.

The application form is closed outside the monthly window. The next one opens on the 1st of the month.
