Student applications for 2026-27 are open on the National Scholarship Portal from 16 September 2026 to 31 October 2026.
You need a One Time Registration (OTR) number to apply on the National Scholarship Portal. Check the full eligibility, amount and documents in the scheme's guidelines on the portal before you apply.
Who can apply
- Admitted to the first year of a first postgraduate degree in an eligible university or college
- Below 30 years of age on the date of admission
- Regular, full-time courses only. Open, distance, correspondence, private and part-time courses are not eligible
Documents you may need
- One Time Registration (OTR) number
- Aadhaar or Aadhaar enrolment ID (needed for the OTR)
