Print 4 PDF Pages on One Sheet

The short answer
Four pages per sheet gives a two-by-two grid, so a 40-page PDF prints on 10 sheets. Pages shrink to a little under half their size, which is fine for lecture slides and typed notes but small for dense text, so print one sheet first to judge.

Frequently asked questions
Is 4 pages per sheet too small to read?
For slides and normal typed pages, it is readable. For textbook pages with small print, use 2 per sheet instead.
Can I put borders around each page?
A thin line is drawn round each page by default, which also works as a cutting guide. You can switch it off in the settings if you prefer a clean look.
