Blur Part of a Photo

The short answer
Draw a box over the part to hide and the tool blurs it. Blur suits faces, number plates and background details where a soft look is fine. For ID numbers or phone numbers, black is safer because blurred digits can sometimes be read.

Frequently asked questions
Can someone undo the blur?
Strong blur on large objects like a face is hard to undo, but small text can sometimes be recovered. If it matters, cover it with black.
Can I hide more than one part?
Yes. Draw as many boxes as you need, each with its own effect, and then save the picture once.
