Frequently asked questions
Is the SIP result guaranteed?
No. Mutual fund returns change from year to year and nothing is promised. The tool assumes the same return every year, so treat it as an example, not a forecast.
Will my bank show the same maturity amount for an FD or RD?
Very close, but banks may differ in how often they add interest and how they count days. Choose the same compounding your bank uses, usually quarterly, and check its own figure.
Is tax included?
No. Tax on interest or on mutual fund gains depends on your income and is not subtracted.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is only a calculator. Speak to a qualified adviser before you invest.
