Convert an Image to Text (English)
The short answer
Add a photo of printed English text and the reader is set to English. It finds the words, tidies the line breaks and gives you text to copy or save as a file. Clear, straight photos in good light read best. Handwriting is not reliable.

Frequently asked questions
Why are some words wrong?
Blur, shadows, curved pages and small print all confuse the reader. Retake the photo flat and in daylight, or crop it to one column, and read the result before using it.
Can it read handwriting?
Not well. It is made for printed text such as notices, books and screenshots, so a neat handwritten page may come out with many mistakes.
