LinkedIn About Section for Freshers
The short answer
A good About section is short: who you are, one thing you built or did, and what you are looking for. LinkedIn allows up to 2,600 characters, but 600 to 900 reads best. Write in the first person. The template builds three small paragraphs from your answers.
Three short paragraphs: who you are, what you did, what you want.
Start with “a” or “an”, for example “an MBA student”.
Separate with commas. Put the three best first.
One true sentence, with a number if you have one.
Your message
Short and specific beats long and general. Add one detail only you could know, like a post of theirs you read. Connection notes have a short character limit that LinkedIn has changed over time, so trim the note if it is refused. Your details stay in your browser.
Everything runs in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions
What if I have no experience yet?
Use a project, a course, a club or a competition. A true, small example shows more than a list of adjectives.
Should I add keywords?
Mention your main skills naturally, since recruiters search for them. Do not stuff a list of buzzwords, which reads badly.
