Frequently asked questions

Should I give the exact illness?

You need not. 'Fever' or 'ill health' is enough for a short leave. For a longer absence, the doctor's certificate gives the detail.

When should I submit the letter?

Before the leave if you know it in advance, or on the day you return. If you can, send a short message to your coordinator on the first day, and give the letter when you are back.
