The short answer

Copy the form's share link, paste it here, and download the code. Put it on a poster, a classroom slide or a notice board so people can scan and fill the form on their phones. Test it, and check that the form is set to accept responses.

Anyone who scans the code will see this.

Higher levels still scan if the code is dirty or covered a little.

Your QR code appears here as you type.

Everything runs in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Will people need to sign in to answer?

Only if you set the form to require it. For a public survey, turn off the sign-in option in the form's settings and test the code on a phone that is not signed in.

Can I use the shortened link?

Yes, but a long link gives a denser code that is harder to scan from far. A short link makes a simpler code, so shorten it if the poster is viewed from a distance.
