GATE 2027 Photo Size: 5 to 600 KB JPG
The short answer
GATE 2027 asks for a colour JPG or JPEG photograph between 5 KB and 600 KB, 3.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm tall, which is 200 × 260 to 530 × 690 pixels. Your face should fill 60 to 70 percent of the picture, against a plain white background. The tool below makes 413 × 531 pixels, which is inside those limits.

Frequently asked questions
Is the GATE photo 80 percent face, like NTA exams?
No. The GATE 2027 page asks for 60 to 70 percent of the image to be your face after cropping. NEET says 80 percent, so always use the numbers of the exam you are filling.
Can I wear glasses in my GATE photo?
Spectacles are allowed, but glare on them is not acceptable. Caps, hats, sunglasses and coloured glasses are not allowed, and a head covering is accepted only for religious reasons with the full face visible.
What pixel size should my GATE photo be?
The page allows 200 × 260 up to 530 × 690 pixels, with a width-to-height ratio between 0.66 and 0.89. The tool's 413 × 531 pixels is inside both, so you can use it as it is.
