JEE Main Signature Size: 10 to 100 KB
The short answer
For the JEE (Main) 2026 form, sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, keep the paper flat and photograph it straight on. The file must be clearly legible and 10 to 100 KB. The tool below makes the JPG, at 300 × 100 because the bulletin names no pixel size.
Copy the numbers from your own exam notice: sizes change from year to year and between exams.
The file is made exactly 300 × 100 pixels and under 100 KB (you are told if it ends up below 10 KB). It is counted as 1 KB = 1,000 bytes, so it fits whether the website counts 1,000 or 1,024.
Your files stay on your device. This tool runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my JEE signature rejected as unclear?
Usually the photo is blurry, tilted or has shadows. Use good light, keep the phone straight above the paper, and let the clean-up whiten the paper and darken the ink.
Can I sign with a pencil?
A dark pen is safer. A pencil line is light grey, so after compression it can fade and look unclear to the checker.
Does JEE Main need any other uploads?
Yes: a Class 10 certificate or marksheet PDF (50 to 300 KB), an identity proof if you do not verify by Aadhaar or DigiLocker (JPG, 10 to 200 KB) and a disability or UDID certificate if it applies (PDF, 50 to 300 KB).
