UGC NET Signature Size: 4 to 30 KB
The short answer
The UGC NET bulletin (June 2025, the latest I could read) asks for the full signature in running handwriting, signed on white paper with a blue or black pen, as an image between 4 KB and 30 KB. A name written in capital letters is not accepted. No pixel size is given, so the tool below makes a 300 × 100 pixel image.
Copy the numbers from your own exam notice: sizes change from year to year and between exams.
The file is made exactly 300 × 100 pixels and under 30 KB (you are told if it ends up below 4 KB). It is counted as 1 KB = 1,000 bytes, so it fits whether the website counts 1,000 or 1,024.
Your files stay on your device. This tool runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions
Why was my UGC NET form rejected for the signature?
The bulletin says a name typed or written in capital letters in the box is not accepted as a signature, and unsigned forms are rejected. Use your normal running signature.
Is 4 KB too small for a clear signature?
A 300 × 100 pixel signature with dark ink on white fits easily in a few KB, because it is mostly white. The tool shows the size it made.
Does the signature rule match NEET or JEE?
No. NEET and JEE Main 2026 say 10 to 100 KB, and CUET UG says 10 to 50 KB. UGC NET says 4 to 30 KB, so use the numbers of your own exam.
