NEET UG Photo Size: 10 to 200 KB JPG
The short answer
Upload a JPG of 10 to 200 KB for NEET (UG) 2026. Colour and black and white are both allowed, which is not true of every NTA exam. Take it fresh, after 1 January 2026, with your ears in view and no mask. The bulletin gives no pixel size, so the tool below uses 413 × 531.
Copy the numbers from your own exam notice: sizes change from year to year and between exams.
The file is made exactly 413 × 531 pixels and under 200 KB (you are told if it ends up below 10 KB). It is counted as 1 KB = 1,000 bytes, so it fits whether the website counts 1,000 or 1,024.
Your files stay on your device. This tool runs entirely in your browser and nothing is uploaded to a server.

Frequently asked questions
Does NEET UG need the photo to be a particular pixel size?
The 2026 information bulletin states the file type, the file size range and how the face should look, but no width and height in pixels. A passport-size picture of 413 × 531 pixels fits that description.
Can I use a black and white photo for NEET?
Yes. The bulletin says the photograph can be in colour or black and white, as long as about 80 percent of the picture is your face, with your ears visible, no mask and a white background.
Which other files does NEET ask for, and how big?
The same bulletin lists the signature (10 to 100 KB), finger and thumb impressions (it gives two different ranges, so read the upload page itself) and PDF documents such as the Class 10 marksheet (50 to 300 KB). Check the bulletin each year, because the numbers can change.
