Frequently asked questions

Do I sign once or three times for UPSC?

Three times, one below the other, on plain white paper in black ink, according to the Civil Services 2026 notice. Upload that as your one signature file.

What if my UPSC signature file is under 20 KB?

UPSC sets a minimum of 20 KB as well as a maximum of 100 KB. A bigger picture makes a bigger file, so raise the width and height in the tool until the size shown is 20 KB or more.

Can I sign in blue ink for UPSC?

The Civil Services 2026 notice says black ink, so use black. Blue is allowed by some other exams, but not named here.
